I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne, and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The way this morning is going, I am going to be needing an alibi before noon. Seriously.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Suzi, you were with me all day. We went to garage sales. But you left all the nifty junk you bought at my place.

This gives us both an alibi.

Or I should say, gives you an alibi, and me an excuse.

%#*^#

Eight more people just cancelled on mom's party. I have TOTALLY lost track of how many people are coming - at this point NONE of my cousins or other family will be here. I'm so upset.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Suzi}}} That's awful. I hope they have damn good excuses.

They say they do...but whenever they host a family thing, we are always there, even if it is a subset of our family. These are my mom's sister's kids. Her sister passed away a few years ago so my mom is the matriarch of the family. She has made a point of being at EVERY family function, regardless of her health. There have actually been a couple of times where she has ended up in the hospital the following day. I know - not ringing endorsement, but shoot, family means going out of your way sometimes.

So annoyed.

lI have a TON of food and drinks and we may end up with, like, 10 people instead of the originally expected 30-40.

So last night I went to bed at 9:30ish. And when a friend called at like, 11, I swear I thought "Who the hell is calling in the middle of the night??" and then looked at the clock. Woke up about 6:30AM, and said "hell no". Eventually got up around...noon. Walked over to breakfast place and CVS. It's 2pm. Why am I considering a nap? Bleahhhh.

Also, is LJ broken for anyone else?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It is for me.

Me, too. So frustrating.

Since LJ's down, I'll post this here. I decided to get another carseat for Ellie in case Joe needs to pick her up at some point. So, after researching, I found that Sears had the one I wanted. I went to the Sears here (at the huge mall) and they had the exact carseat I wanted, easily accessible, and, it was supposed to be $20 more than in the US, but it had a US-price sticker on it so they gave it to me for that price. I'm so happy because nothing in PR is ever that simple!

move out and draw fire

I love when stuff like that happens, Stephanie! (Also, I just saw your photos of picking coffee - how fun is that?)

Suzi, sorry you got my party karma. We laid in 4 cases of beer and now I have 3.5 cases of beer to give away (and we'd chilled a lot of it, so I can't just put it in the storeroom).
