I can't get the new espresso machine to work. Woe. I have filled the water reservoir, made sure it is firmly in place, turned it on and pushed the appropriate button and yet no water goes through. It is much louder and more obnoxious than my previous machine, and has the added advantage of NOT WORKING.

I lost my $150 pair of sunglasses. I had them for over six years. So I searched everywhere TWICE. My purse, diaper bag, suitcases, baskets, in the van, in the truck, called my in-laws and family to see if I left them there last weekend. Nothing.
Today, I broke down and bought a cheap pair at Target. Guess what I found when I got back home?
Fuck.
And Hec has reminded me of our horrid lack of any coffee making apparatus in the house--no French press, no Mr. Coffee, no pod machine, nada.
