I got stupid. The money was too good.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Can't sleep; clown will eat me.

Random insomnia is just weird. I read comics for a while, then gave up and took an Ambien, and now I'm watching Eddie Izzard and waiting for the drugs to kick in.

Go, drugs, go!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Feh on the clowns.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Beth, thanks for the suggestion. I had T get me some tylenol, which I think helps because of the swelling and the three acid medications finally started working. Plus mom called and yelled at me to stop lying down and sitting up helped too. T and I watched a couple hours of tv together, so at least we spent some time together. -ma for being able to enjoy my last real day here tomorrow would be greatly appreciated.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Go Teppy's drugs!

So, I've been reading up on Zombies. Watched White Zombie last night. (Excellent pre-code horror!)

Here's the thing: the bit about the brains? It only dates back to the movie Return of the Living Dead. Which I saw in its initial theatrical release. See ya got your old school Haitian Zombies, and then you got your post-Romero Night of the Living Dead Zombies. But the whole thing with brain eating doesn't even get going until the 80s. That's weird.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Can't sleep either. My apartment is WAY too hot to sleep in. I've got a fan on, but still, not so much with the sleeping.

And I'm itchy. Don't know why. Most of it seems like dry skin, but I've got a weird blotch on one arm. Quite puzzling.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Boo insomnia!

Firefox is occasionally not letting me input text. This is typed in TextEdit. Grrrr.

Must fold laundry before I fuss with reorging my movie queue. Really. Any minute now.

And my downstairs neighbors are either talking or having sex. Low noises filter up but I can't tell for sure. And frankly if they are having teh sex? I don't want to know. Because if it is sex, it is boring sex. eta: Okay, I think I hear electronics. So maybe not boring. And certainly much more likely now that it is actually sex. Ewwww. I liked plausible deniability much better. Must bleach brain. Luckily about to start load of whites. Will throw brain into washer.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Kristin is there anyway you could thank him for thinking of you and wanting to make you welcome but very politely explain that since this is you and ND's first year together in the new house you are hoping to start some new traditions including decorating the house. And leave the lights up for a little while and then take them down?

askye, thanks for the advice. I ended up writing her a brief email thanking her for thinking of us and asking nicely if we could be part of the decorating process next time around.

Landlady T. rocks like a rocking thing. I doubt she even knew what her dad was up to, and I know she'll take it in the spirit it's intended.

ION, sj, you SO don't suck. You are sick, sweetie. Get some sleep if you can. You know that your T. will understand.

ETA: t hands Cass more bleach

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Home from thrilling trip to SF. I parked in the City Center parking lot only to discover the Big Dawg was speaking in the plaza, stumping votes for Prop 87 (I think). The show was great, though Huey Lewis was underwhelming. The rest of the cast was spectacular.

Now I hace to stay up til midnight (on purpose) in case mom needs me to help her with her dialysis machine. So damned tired.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Can't sleep. Think clowns did eat me.

And not in the good way.

Also, Happy, at this point belated, Birthday, Ginger!

All is well that ends in pizza.

Happy Birthday, Daniel!

Thanks to all who wished me thus. I am still catching up.
