Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I was working for H&R Block when K-Bug was born. Her birthday is late March and I was back before the last week of tax season.

I brought her with me and she hung out in the back of the office where all the form checkers were. They would watch her while I worked with the clients. If she was hungry, one of the other preparers would cover for me so I could go to the back.

In hind sight - I was craxy.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I seem to be having an extended birthday. Last night a friend had free tickets for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and she bought me dinner. Tonight is dinner with another friend and tomorrow night a singer-songwriter I really like (Chris Smither) is performing here.

Of course, I also have a dental appointment today to repair my bubblegum encounter.

There should have been a cuteness warning on this thread. The Halloween pictures were almost lethal.

brillig

Most of my trick or treaters were small and shy, or less small and well conversant with the theory. I wasn't wearing a costume, but our living room was dark and I was standing at the screen door watching the neighborhood. The littles seemed amazed that the door would open as they arrived. We also had our plasma globe skull in the front window, and that's always a hit.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday Happies for Ginger!!!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Ginger! Here's a special bubblewrap gown I made for you.

Here's what I have to say about the pictures: Whoa! We're pretty. Man, I love it when Ple dresses up. And Tep - so gorgeous. You're looking as pretty as I've ever seen you. Aimee, you were absolutely perfect as Rosie. I think you gave Robert Crumb a boner somewhere in France with your Powerful Woman vibe.

It is simply a fact that Buffistas make the most beautiful children.

Our doorbell just rang and one of Jacqueline's (relatively new) co-workers dropped by to give us a baby present. Very sweet of her. Plus we got super cool monkey slippers out of it! Of course, it'll take Matilda about a year to grow into them. For Halloween she wore the Pumpkin hat that Emmett bought for her. Even then we had to pin it so it would fit, for lo, she is wee.

EM came into the city to go trick or treating with us and took Emmett back with her so I could skip my Wednesday morning commute. Which means I'll be commandeering the baby as soon as she's done feeding and JZ can nap this morning.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Brenda just made me miss donuts as fiercely as I miss the food network.

So, now that Halloween is done, let's talk about Thanksgiving! I wasn't sure if I wasnt going to do t-day or not, but I was just at the store and got a medium-sized turkey for 14 euro, which I figured was a sign that I should cook. So it's in the freezer as we speak. I cannot for the life of me find tinned pumpkin, though, which will make me a very sad hostess. I mean, I can make pecan pie. But pumpkin! There ought to be pumpkin!
