Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

HL, yes; SNL, no.

Great tat, Calli!

Re: ettiquette. I was taught to write notes. I don't. I suck. The end.

Caveat: I do send e-mail thank yous. Otherwise, you're out of luck.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Laura = love, with or without Hugh.

Calli and Calli tattoo also equal love.

I suck at thank you notes. I want to be good about them, but in practice, not so much. As far as receiving them - my main concern is just that a sent gift reached the giftee. A gift handed off in person - the in person thanks are enough.

Calli, your tattoo is gorgeous!

It was basically awful except the HL bits. (hee, bits)

Thanks for all the love!

It was light when I got up this morning!! Don't know how long that will last. We just dropped under 12 hours visible light today. Sunrise at 6:28am, not that I could stay in bed until that hour.

If my son didn't want to play HS sports I would homeschool just to stay in bed till a decent hour.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Great tattoo, Calli.

On thank you notes: I try. I really, really do. But, you know, sometimes life gets in the way. What I try even harder to do, though, is let someone know via e-mail that I've received their package, and I love it. And, if I'm in person when gift is received, I thank then. This spring, I was overwhelmed by people's genorosity when I got so sick with the stupid asthma and steroids. I'm afraid that to this day someone didn't get thanked. I was literally getting something in the mail every day. It was amazing and helped so much. I just hope people know that.

When we were little, mom and dad would sit us down after Christmas or our birthdays, and we'd have a thank you note writing session. When we were little, mom would write them out, and we'd copy them. When my little brother was five (probably almost six), he figured out a short-cut that he was VERY proud of. He shortened all of the Uncle _______ and Aunt _______ to "Dear Uncle and Aunt [Uncle's first name]." Mom was mortified and was going to make him redo them. Dad thought it was hysterical and had them sent that way.

Great tattoo, Calli!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

love the tatoo

I 've had coffee and a wealk, but if the sun never comes out, I may never wake up. when winter is really here, it doesn't bug me as much if I don't see the sun . however, this part of the year, it makes me very sleepy and low energy.

move out and draw fire

That's a gorgeous tattoo, Calli! Very unusual subject matter, and nicely done.

I heart Vicodin. I've got a UTI (Halloween weekend = sugar, stress, and sex = perfect recipe for one), but when I went to the doctor they found blood in my urine but no white blood cells, so no drugs or antibiotics. Bastards.

2 hours later I was writhing on the floor, and the DH went around to the pharmacy and acquired Vicodin and an anti-spasmodic, so at least I will survive until I can get to the doctor's again.

I really try to send hand-written thank yous. I love cards and pens and stuff, and it's the only time I ever actually use those instead of emailing. So it's more a treat than a chore.

Oh, Raq! How miserable. When are you supposed to go back to the doctor?
