I have 36 million things to do and instead of doing any of them, I'm faffing about on the interbunny. Help?
Um, how about this?
Q: What's the fastest-growing city in Europe?
A: Hint: It's Dublin every minute!

Oh, shit. I just remembered that I haven't eaten since, well, 11am yesterday. Stress much?
Tomorrow I'm feeding other people for lunch and dinner, so I'll be sure to eat then. After that I need to get a schedule down. I'm either eating all the time or not eating at all...neither of those are very healthy, so I've heard.

You need to eat something between now and tomorrow. Don't make me come out there and put a Luna bar up your butt.
I just had a hot dog and some chips. That should get me through today.
Ok. Suzi's suggesting that I call the lawyer before I clean the tub. Which, I hafta admit, feels silly to me, but I will. 'Cause if I don't, she won't leave me alone :).
I think you should, too. Because the tub mess is the landlords' fault.
Are you suing, even if they give you your deposit back in full?
You definitely should, because (1) they violated the terms of your lease by entering the apartment repeatedly during the last month to paint, etc.; (2) when they entered the apartment -- ILLEGALLY -- to paint, etc., they DAMAGED items belonging to you (i.e., papasan, X-box [or whatever video game system that is]); (3) the painting and floor buffing they did when they entered your apartment ILLEGALLY has caused asthma attacks.
Basically, they violated the terms of your lease, damaged your property, and put your health at risk.
If you DON'T sue them, I'm going to glare *very* disapprovingly at you.
Imagine if things were flipped around. If you violated the terms of the lease, they'd come after you. (In fact, when you tried to get them to cut you a break on this last month, they said no -- so basically they're okay when THEY violate the lease, but you don't get to do the same.)
If you damaged their property (holes in the wall, carpet in flames), they would *totally* withhold money from your deposit, rightfully so. Well, *you* have the right to recover damages for *your* property that they damaged (when they entered your apartment ILLEGALLY, in clear violation of the lease).
If you did anything that put the health of other tenants at risk, they'd be all over you. Your asthma isn't just mild, occasional asthma; you've been hospitalized in the recent past because of it. And by being in your apartment when they had no right to be there (ILLEGALLY, if I haven't mentioned it recently), they created an unhealthy living situation for you. It doesn't matter that you weren't living there 24/7 -- if you were required to pay rent, then they are required to treat you like a tenant, and obey the lease.
Don't make me glare disapprovingly at you -- SUE THEIR ASSES.

Suzi is wise. Also, she's making me think of Jackie Chiles.
("You put the balm on? Who told you to put the balm on? I didn't tell you to put the balm on. Why'd you put the balm on? You haven't even been to see the doctor. If your gonna put a balm on, let a doctor put a balm on......")
That should get me through today.
Dinner would be good too, vw. Eat some. In 5-6 hours. It's all the rage with kids today
when you tried to get them to cut you a break on this last month, they said no --
Also, I think Steph misspelled "when you offered them a solution that would give them the full access to the apartment that they wanted."
I just had a hot dog and some chips. That should get me through today.

Ms Bug, I agree with Nora.
t reitterates point about Luna bar

Exactly. Also, the way they have handled the security deposit over the last seven years is illegal. Because of that one thing, they are required to pay us triple damages, plus court costs and reasonable attorney fees. And that's not even taking into account their behavior the last three months.
And, I'll eat some dinner. Promise.
