Wash: Don't fall asleep now. Sleepiness is weakness of character. Ask anyone. You're acting captain. Know what happens you fall asleep now? Zoe: Jayne slits my throat, and takes over. Wash: That's right. Zoe: And we can't stop it.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Also unfair: Waking up thinking today was Thursday, and discovering it's only Wednesday. Phooey.

And what's with all the carrots?

Yeah, I had that today too.

Ditto. Though not nearly as fun as getting stoned without smoking. Just a typical kid morning. 5 a.m. Bouncy. Equipped with blanket, barbie, and glow stick from the previous night (still glowing in the wee hours). Wants to play! or watch Dora. Yeah, Dora won.

Hi, vroomvroom.

ION I have today off, it's sunny and this may be the last of the not-so freezing days. I should get my butt in gear and go be outside.

And yet, I prefer to lie around reading.

move out and draw fire

Home finally. DH got off phone, we were all set to go, boss said "I need to call my wife (to explain why I'm going to be late to our planned evening)" and the phone rang. We both yelled "Don't answer that!" but boss stopped and answered it, and of course it was for Robert.

So late home to tired baby and cranky nanny and I'm starving and it's hard to make dinner with a toddler pushing on your legs and wah.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

trifle wellied

I think I need a translation this time.

'a trifle wellied' = 'a bit drunk'

Hi there, Buffy and...oh, crap. Other person whose name I have just forgotten, embarrassingly. Um. Anyway - hi there!

I'm in Cairo AIFG! Albeit it's the Eid, so everything's closed and quiet - but that's fine. I spent a happy couple of days hanging out with my friend N, and now I'm slobbing around my friend C's house. Plus, just before the Eid, I managed to hit the shops and pick up an assortment of Egyptian shiny things to take back to Bangkok with me. Go Team Me!

Sounds like the trip to Egypt is going well! Shiny things are good. And seeing friends is good.
