Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sacroiliac

Thank you! I figured someone would come to the rescue. Yes.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy iced sacroiliac joints, Nora. By which I mean, I hope it helps.

Our wings are not tired.

Ouchy. Joint~ma Nora.

I left my reading glasses at home. I have my driving glasses on, which not quite right. My close up world is a blur. I either have to run home, or to Walgreens. Same time really.

{{Nora}} Ugh. One of my least favorite places to get achey in, but also one that frequently goes bad on me. Relief~ma.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hi all! So it does turn out that my job here ends on Friday. At least I got some warning this time, but again, I'm disappointed that I'm leaving a job I like well enough. I believe I'm starting work at another children's hospital on Tuesday (as Monday is a bank holiday), which will be interesting. It's a bit closer to my apartment. Apparently I have to go through a medical exam, so at least I get a check-up out of it.

Trying to decide if I want to go home for the christmas holiday. I just checked online, and a one-way ticket to Nashville is €300. Not sure, not sure.

I just found out that S., my friend who is living with us, got so sick that she fell at work and had to go to the emergency room- on Monday. She has stayed away from the house so not to contaminate it. I feel like a horrible person that gives the impression that you can't be sick in your own bed. Also, I feel like a horrible person to make this all about me. In conclusion: I suck in a myriad of not-so-delightful ways.

No helpful, but whenever I see the word sacroiliac (and it's not often) I immediately start singing a song from the 1980s by Canadian rap artist Maestro Fresh Wes:

So many suckers on my sacroiliac
It's like a rap-sack, backpack
(wic-wic-whack)
Give me some slack jack

And what's with all the carrots?

I've had plenty of online interaction with her and like her a lot.

Thanks Kristin!

Hey Buffy!

I'm not saying I'm headache free this morning, but I will say that today is a much better day than the last few.

Took CJ to the ortho yesterday afternoon and he will start Braces - Phase 1 next week. YIKES! The good news is that our insurance will cover 85% of the cost. The bad news is that there won't be any coverage left for Phase 2 (unless one of us has a new job by then).
