Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Those links didn't work at all.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Have coffee and am watching Iconoclast with Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Happy.

Second attempt:

I need some fashion advice. I recently bought this skirt, and I need a top to go with it. Any suggestions? This is a detailed view of the pattern.

Because books.

sj, the Yahoo site is claiming there's an error.

Yay, Nora! What a great trip to look forward to.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Lucky you, Nora! I have a friend currently living in England and I'd give anything to be able to visit. Alas, funding is slim. Maybe in a few years.

Yeah, the flight cost is pretty discouraging, then add the hotel in... (we'll be staying at a hotel in London, but not the 2 nights at his mom's). Eek! But, at this point, with the state of his mom's health, it's not much of an option... and the ROI of her not being alone on Xmas is pretty enormous.

We'll spin the numbers somehow.

I've booked the flight, and the hotel near Heathrow for the night before we fly home. Waiting on hearing from Tom's dad before we book in his neighborhood. Will hopefully find someplace nice in Edinburgh for not too much for some non-parent downtime in between London and St. Andrews. Or suck it up and stay with MIL an extra night. See what the numbers say... Hey, maybe one of us will get a huge raise before the end of the year!!!

I'm psyched to be in London at Christmas though- just like in Dr. Who! hopefully there will be no alien invasion though.

All the changes to Yahoo photo confused me so much that I forgot to make the album public. Can you see if it works now?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Nora, bring lots and lots of sweaters.

yeah, last time I was there, it was March and really cold. I assume it will be more so in December. It gets so raw, especially in St. Andrew's, because it is right on the sea.

Because books.

The up-close shot is visible, but the other one isn't, sj.

Gorgeous pattern! And I adore that bottle green color. Based on the up-close shot, I'd say you'd need either a purple top that matched the embroidery or a cream-colored shirt.
