We're getting our first snow! It's just teeny flurries but SNOW! I'm glad the kids' Halloween costumes are warm.
Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Clearly, we need to start a Buffista coffee shop with no non-caffienated drinks and dark chocolate treats, only.
Oh, please. This morning that would have been so nice, as I realized that I didn't have as many coffee beans as I thought I did. So, I had to use the emergency Folgers Coffee Singles, which are ok if drunk REALLY quickly. But, I drink my coffee slow, and couldn't even finish the whole cup. It turns to sludge quickly. Blech. Must get out and find real coffee today so we don't have a repeat tomorrow.
And in, my diamond shoes are too tight news, my Internet won't stay connected (the wireless is fine...it's the DSL connection). Stupid DSL (I suppose I should call on it, but since it's working right now, they won't be much help. And, besides, I don't have time for that today). I think I've finally printed out everything I may need today from my class website so if it does completely poop out on me, I'll have everything I need in front of me. Of course, this killed several trees, but some days you gotta do whatcha gotta do.
So more sleep wasn't happening. Now coffee is coffee-ating.
whee! We're going to London and Scotland for Christmas! Sure, it will be fraught with family angst and anxiety, but still! whee!
Nora, that's excellent! Woot! (The trip, not the angst.)
Yay, Nora! That is going to be a beautiful trip. Minimal-angst~ma.
Nora, I'm so jealous! That sounds awesome! I get to do that family angst without the benefit of the UK. *pout*
I get to do that family angst without the benefit of the UK.
Heh. That was on the "pro" list of going over: "will deal with family (my family) bullshit regardless"
I repeat the gronk with an added Wheee for Nora.
Lucky you, Nora! I have a friend currently living in England and I'd give anything to be able to visit. Alas, funding is slim. Maybe in a few years.
