Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, I will be happy to Zazie with you.

YAY.

Perhaps after we've recovered you from the Castro expedition??

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

P-C, I've always used it this way: I send a check to ING for a dollar (or more if I want to start a new acct and not just change banks) because they require that for linking. Once linked I log in to ING and set up my automatic transfers. When I need extra cash back in my account I move it from ING to my checking account. It can sometimes take up to 5 days, from my experience.

How to handle BoA odd fee surcharge I am not really sure. You could always call up ING and speak with someone there who has better answers than I.

Sorry for people's crap days. Hope they perk up. I keep eating chocolate, so I'm having a decent day.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Not having a crap day. Posting pictures of cutiehead bartenders and taunting Lee have quite the mood-lifting effect.

Still need lunch, though. Um.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've got a Citibank e-Savings account. I like it because it's got interest rates pretty comparable to ING, but it's got actual branches, too, so I can go and talk to an actual person if there's a problem.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Woo!

I have now set up an ING account. The guy on the phone was really helpful and patient; I was surprised. And I didn't have to go through any automated menus to get to him, either. I like these guys already. I mean, he even waited for me to transfer my savings to my checking so that I could dump it all in initially; otherwise, I would lose 10 days of valuable interest. And he walked me through the application process and logins and all that.

As I sort of suspected, because ING does all the pushing and pulling of money from their end, there are no fees, which makes sense. The outbound transfer fee only comes into play if I push from BOA directly, which I don't see a reason to ever do, really.

Well, bollocks. Oh, well, there's always greener grass, I guess.

ION, I just signed up to go to Israel on an Alternative Spring Break program, to help rebuild the places in the north that were damaged during the fighting with Lebanon this summer.

Now, I've just got to email all my relatives and ask them to donate money. (The way it works is they set up a page, kinda like the ones for people doing charity walks and stuff, where people can donate money to fund the trip and the rebuilding and various other sorts of environmental programs in Israel. Everyone needs to raise a minimum of $800. I really hate asking for money, even though it's not really asking for me. I'm pretty sure that between my parents and a few cousins that I know pretty well, I'll be able to get at least a few hundred. If I need to cover the rest myself, I will.)

I don't suppose anyone wants to come get me in San Jose and take me to Oakland on Sunday, do they, seeing as how my other ride seems to have just fallen through?
