ION, I just signed up to go to Israel on an Alternative Spring Break program, to help rebuild the places in the north that were damaged during the fighting with Lebanon this summer.
Now, I've just got to email all my relatives and ask them to donate money. (The way it works is they set up a page, kinda like the ones for people doing charity walks and stuff, where people can donate money to fund the trip and the rebuilding and various other sorts of environmental programs in Israel. Everyone needs to raise a minimum of $800. I really hate asking for money, even though it's not really asking for me. I'm pretty sure that between my parents and a few cousins that I know pretty well, I'll be able to get at least a few hundred. If I need to cover the rest myself, I will.)
I don't suppose anyone wants to come get me in San Jose and take me to Oakland on Sunday, do they, seeing as how my other ride seems to have just fallen through?

Um, actually, when do you need to go? Because I'm going to be in Belmont this weekend. And planning to come back to Oakland Sunday morning/early afternoon.
In the evening--my plane is scheduled to land at 7:25, but then I'd need to get my bags and such.

I have an ING near me. I had never thought of them as inaccessible for that reason, but it occurs to me I couldn't tell you where another branch (with cafe and free Wi Fi, FTR) is.
Good thing we're picking up Brenda tonight. I need more forces of good to fight the evil forces of Lee.
