Also, I use a small local bank in MA called Wainwright, which is still doable (even though we do not live anywhere near the branches anymore) because I still work in Cambridge, and you can get money out of any "SUM" ATM for free, and a lot of local banks in MA have that system going. I haven't seen SUM ATMs anywhere else, so I don't know if there's a similar thing but different code, or what.
Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yay!
Actually, it looks like the fee is only for outbound transfers, so I wouldn't be charged to get my money, only to put money into the account. Which is sort of annoying but not horribly because, for the most part, the money going into savings is coming from my paycheck, which will be direct deposited in there anyway.
Nora, I'll probably take you up on that, too. I want to talk to GF about it tonight. I'm thinking the two of us should do a CD, too.
Heh. Nora is an ING pimp today!

Drop me an email with your real name when/if you've decided, and I can do that. PC, I put your real first name and PolterCow as second name, so if that mucked up the works, (i.e., you can't change it) let me know and I'll do it again armed with your real last name.

For REALS.

It looks fine; it's just a regular link to a blank application.
Okay, I'm just suddenly so happy about my money actually turning into more money by magic. It's like free money!

Would you be able to arrange for some of your paycheck to be direct deposited into an ING account, and the rest into your current accounts?
I would take you up on that Nora, but I think $250 is too high for me to start.

That's what I meant. As long as ING works like a regular savings account and has, like, an account number and routing number and all that, I can get the paycheck to drop in there directly.
And, yeah, I think I can actually put part in the BOA savings account, but I see no reason to continually increase that one by any significant amount. There's a $300 minimum balance, but I also think it's supposed to be transferring $25 from checking every month to keep from having a fee, although I haven't seen it doing that in the activity.
I can change how I do it at any time, so I think I'll start out by just putting all the "savings" portion into ING and see how that goes.
you may hear from me later Nora
edit: really, just because I can't spell is no excuse
