[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Still sick. I stayed home from work, but that hasn't stopped me from checking all of my work email and responding to those that needed responses. I have school reading to finish and a short (15 minute) presentation to prepare for Tuesday's class.

Good point. Fictionally, from New Jersey.

What is even happening?

My dh was so well trained by his sisters, that I have no idea how he'd prefer my hair to look. He always seems to like whatever I'm doing with it. The only thing I know about his hair preference where women are concerned is that he has a thing for brunettes. As I am one, this works well.Any Somervillians around?

Do you drive through Boston to get to Cambrige?
Signed,
No idea of Boston/Cambridge geography, not that it prevents me from setting a scene there
Where are you coming from? Where in Cambridge are you going? And is it you (please please please please please), or is this for writing research (I know this is probable, and yay for you/boo for me).

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

So, Amy, I think technically before you take that exit onto Cambridge Street and drive over the river to Cambridge, you are in Boston City lines (I remember reading that sign just this past weekend, following the same path into Cmabridge/Boston). However, you won't be winding through Boston proper, or see any landmarks or anything. It's a highway drive through Boston City Limits for a few miles, between Newton (to the west) and Cambridge (to the east). So there you are.

Thanks, guys. I should have just looked at a map, but my brain is on overload this morning.

And thanks for the note about not going through Boston proper, Nora, because I said something about them fighting traffic, which I'll take out.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Feel better Hec. (and don't think about my long thin tresses)

Awww, you're always hot, Laura. You just exude a sort of cheerful carnality.

Well, it's the part of the Pike which does get extraordinarily traffic-y (tolls, many junctions, etc.) so getting to Cambridge that way would most likely (during rush hour) have horrible traffic.

Hec-liments always cheer me up even when they aren't for me. YAY! Love this one.

I don't know which is making me smile and chuckle more: the term "Hec-liments" or the Hec-liment itself.
