Thank you! Everything's sinking in now (and everyone at the office knows what's happening). People who I could swear I've never met are sending me "it's been great working with you" emails. Which beats, "About time, beeotch!" But still.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Dean: Who's that supercompetent one who helped us out last time?
Anybody else suddenly have the theme from "Shaft" running in their head?
::gently hugs Nora::
passes her a nice stiff one.
take that how ever you will
Anybody else suddenly have the theme from "Shaft" running in their head?
Well I didn't until now.... Not that it's the worst theme.
{{{{Nora}}}} Pain~ma to you.
We're headed to a Pawsox game in the rain in a little bit. Why did I not think to check the weather reports when I booked the tickets?
oh, poo. It's supposed to be cloudy with showers tomorrow. NOT HELPING, NATURE!
Of course, it's rainy here too. I'm starting to think it always is and always will be. But I see a teensy bit of blue sky in the distance, and some far away clouds are glowing, as if the sunshine might reach them, so I'm not too disgusted.
Hey, happy bdays to MEARA and JEN!!!
Matt, that's awful about your friend. I'm so sorry.
Other than that, I got nuthin'. I got about 3 hours of sleep last night, so my night contains easy grading and powering down early.
Good lord, I skip out for a few days and I am a thousand posts and a whole new thread behind. Time for the powersuck...
passes her a nice stiff one.Love. Aimee.
Okay, cut opinions: [link]
Definitely the first one. While you could certainly wear the other cuts they could trend to looking very momish between trims.
Emmett and I went to see How to Eat Fried Worms which was much better than it needed to be. Just a well crafted, well told story with interesting characters making character-revealing choices. A storytelling workshop that Scrappy would appreciate. The guy from Ed (the tv show) was the dad. Hallie Eisenberg was very good. She's all tall and budding and self-possessed, and still looks like a very jewish girl. That is to say, not Hollywood generic.
Afterwards I took Emmett to Burgermeister to stave off the inevtable start of school with a milkshake. That cheered him. Then he started to bemoan summer's end on the way home so we stopped at the corner store and I got him a treat.
Emmett: I miss summer! Oh, little gummi bear of sweetness - make me happy!
While mostly I've been put off by his whining, his gummi bear plea was cute in its sincere desperation.
