I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Is there any way to ask one's roommate who is in the room right above one's bedroom, and gets ready in the morning at least an hour before one gets up and has shoes on with a definite clicky and sturdy heel to GODDAMIT STOP WALKING BACK AND FORTH back and forth over and over again in the bedroom while one is awoken from sweet slumber below. What the HELL are you doing? And why do you have to wear shoes while doing it? AAAAHHHHHHH.

Jebus.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Good luck with your talk vw!

I never put on shoes until I'm about out the door so I don't wake up Mr. Jane. Sometimes I even wait until I'm in the car.

A husband who works until 4 and heels at 7am are unmixy things.

Speaking of getting out the door, I'm off. I think I'm about to ask for a promotion at work. Wish me luck.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Nora, just ask her if she can wait until she leaves before putting her shoes on. She may not be aware how loud it is to you guys.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Oh my god I want to hit ignore a thousand times over with my mother. If she could please stop talking about how irresponsible I am with my own finances, not that I don't know any of that already, that would be nice. I mean, christ, I just got out of college. Please excuse me if I don't have all my shit together. Argh.

Done and done.

Ugh, I'm sorry, SA. Lots of people defer student loan stuff; I myself did it for the maximum time. I wouldn't really recommend doing it for that long, because the interest is a killer, but you gotta do what you gotta do, and you'll figure out the financial stuff.

I also highly recommend trying to maneuver into a situation where your parents do not know your day to day financial matters, if at all possible.
