Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Herding cats for fun

Thanks for the well-wishes on the job, all. Ima need them. In the middle of the night my tiny squirrel brain woke me up, demanding to know things like: what will I wear? what time will I have to leave? what will I have for lunch? will they be nice to me? can I do this? do I want to do this? what about all the projects that remain unfinished: making drapes, prepping garden for winter, decluttering and dusting part of the bedroom, those necklaces I meant to put together for Christmas, playing with the kitties, etc., etc., etc.

You'd think the squirrel brain has never even seen the giant ugly bills looming around here. Stoopid squirrel brain, what do you think normal working people use their weekends for? It doesn't know, it's been thoroughly spoiled by having its own schedule for way too long.

Garage sale most successful. SO much unwanted junk went away forever and now we have cash instead. Beth and Matt came by and spent a most pleasant visit with us. My sister saw 'em arrive and said to herself, those people have GOT to be Buffistas, they look so smart.

move out and draw fire

Heh, that's funny, KB. I call it the "hamster brain."

Damn, Jars has the best smile ever.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I just tried to renew my prescription for Avandia at Wal-Mart, for the first time under my new medical insurance. Apparently my medical insurance wants me to put in a 45% co-pay on it. The cost to me for a 30-day supply came out to be $98.

I didn't pick it up.

Medica's customer service line is closed until 7 am-6 pm tomorrow. Sigh.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Nicole is trying to take a picture of Puppycat. It's hilarious. Puppycat has manage to screw up *every* *single* *shot* so far.

"Put your ear up. You look deranged."

"No, now you just look pissed."

"Stop rolling away."

"Look at me. No, at me. Over here."

"Silly kitty. Give me sexy..."

"Stop licking."

"Listen to the fire god (she's a little heat ho, she is)"

"How flat do your ears go???"

"Stop that. Bad kitty. Who is the cutest???"

"No, that is deranged again."

"Fine. I am taking a picture of the fire, forget the cat."

"Oh, sooooo flat."

"Why won't you stop moving chirpy cat?"

I need video of this.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Giggling over Puppycat's antics.

I really need to pay bills and do schoolwork. However, California has decided to bring me a nice New England day (gray, cool, overcast) which is making me really want to nap instead. Discuss.

And that's with the co-pay, I know, Avandia is some expensive shit. Can you get samples from your doc? It's the only way I can afford my diabetes drugs.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Cass - at least your cat will try to pose. My dog is camera shy. He will put his ears back and cower away from a camera. He then slinks around the edge of the room either to his kennel or some other place to hide.

I've tried sitting on the floor with him and the camera to let him sniff it. It doesn't matter if the flash is off, just raising it to take a picture has him off cowering.

Our cat on the other hand, is a camera slut.

Must. Finish. Homework.

I think we got one cute picture of Puppycat from all of that. And many where she looks like she found the crazy crack.

She won't stay still for the pictures. She sees the camera and the person and wants to be petted and rolled around and to touch noses and to do Anything But Stay Still. Good thing she is cute.
