Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Link for Jilli -- skull cupcake pan.

Ooooh. Pity I just blew all my spending money for the next two weeks on b&w striped pointy-toe flats.

(Stripy! Pointy toes! Eeeeeee!)

Because books.

Oh my, the pancake talk has given me an incredible craving. And pumpkin pancakes! I've never had them.

Thanks for the kind words about Sara, everybody -- she's my own little cutiehead, all right. The boys are just my much bigger cutieheads.

X-posted with Music: Anyone have access to Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London" that they could email to me? I promised the song to a friend who's writing a werewolf book, because I do have the CD, but I can't find it. (Some are packed away still, and I don't even know where that box is.) I would appreciate any help muchly!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

GUESS WHAT I'M GETTING ON MONDAY???

A NEW KITTEN!!

She's an orange, longhaired tabby.

Her name is currently Blondie, but as of Monday, her name will be Pryde. Or Anani. But probably Pryde.

A frickin' walkoff! In the ninth!

Is this where I say something like.... IN YOUR FACE! Or, um.... something?

I don't know. Do you want me to say UP YOUR ASS WITH A MARLIN SPIKE?

Nah, it's okay. Tigers played better. I just wanted to see Zito pitch one more game in Green and Gold. Note to Barry Zito: It is NEVER cool to join the Yankees as a free agent. In fact, I put a curse on any player that joins the Yankees as a free agent that they won't win a championship, and that curse has been working since 2001.

On the plus side, Haren pitched a great game and Milton kicked serious ass this series. Also, Kotsay had a chance to shine (two amazing plays in yesterdays game) to show the rest of the country what a fantastic centerfielder he is.

We'll be good next year. We could use one more power hitter in the lineup, though.
