Uh, are we gonna fight, or is there just gonna be a monster sarcasm rally?

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I KNOW!

The status is NOT quo.

This is the first morning I've been able to sleep in for so long. It's bliss. Granted, because of my insanely early work schedule, "sleeping in" means 8:00. Still. Two and a half hours later than normal!

And I have NO PLANS this weekend. I have schoolwork I need to do and I'm going out to dance with a friend tonight, but for once I am not over-scheduled. Poor ND. He's working double shifts between Universal's Halloween all night and the musical he's teching all day. NSM with the free time.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It's going to be entirely gorgeous all weekend, and rainy the first of the week. I really want to go driving in the mountains--well, riding. DH does the driving--to look at the leaves. But my back is still very sore from the flu last weekend, and I'm not sure how well I'd tolerate hours in a car. Still--wanderlust is upon me.

Sara is gorgeous, Amy, as are Em, the Os (cute shirt, Olivia!), and Lilybean.

KatieB! Congratulations, you! Money is indeed a very nice thing to have. You have to buy the kitty kibbles. I am so.jealous. of your getting to hold Matilda. Well, of anybody getting to hold Matlida. Because of course that would imply getting to see and spend time with her lovely mom and dad and brother, but also just because--Matilda!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I went to check "On Demand" and neither c.s.i. nor Numbers from these week are there.

CSI at least is streaming online.

Mostly lurking...

CSI at least is streaming online.

Or, they at least tease you that they are. Attempted to watch the first episode of this season that way. It was in five parts. The last part was the same as the first part. So, I have idea how it ended.

So, in conclusion, they suck.

Oh, that totally sucks. It worked just fine for me--I've watched every episode this season that way, with no repeats.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Why? Why? Why?

I don't know. I don't think leaving Harden in was such a bad choice. You should win most games where your starter only gives up 3. Jiminez though...he's been killing us over there. Actually, I think we'd still be losing with Ellis, but we'd be losing by less. Dan Haren is going to pitch the game of his life today, though, and spare us the ignomy of being swept. Also, that'll let Zito go out with a better start for his last turn in an A's uni.

Amyliz! Your daughter is such a pretty girl. And, not coincidentally, looks like her Mom. Sorry about the Mets.

Emmett wanted pancakes this morning so he had his usual Puffycakes. Then I thinned out the batter with milk for JZ and myself. Added orange zest. Vanilla. Cinnamon. Made crepes. Topped with raspberries and sour cream. ::sigh:: Good.

I'm getting the pig!

Guh. I want Hec to make me breakfast. I had a pumpkin pancake yesterday, but even that doesn't compare to the yummy Hec made.

I'm up and showered. I snuck into Cass's room and grabbed the laptop. She's blissfully asleep with both puppycat and kittenish snuggled on the bed. I can't report yet on her tinted brows or glazed hair but today is Drag The Camera Out Of The Suitcase Day so I'm sure there will be photographic evidence of them at some point.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm cleaning maniacally, with Mythbusters on in the background. I managed to straighten up/re-shelve/storage box/cull the ginormous pile of comics. Now I'm going through a pile of Macworld magazines to rip out important articles I need to reference, and then putting them in a folder, and tossing the rest of the magazines. Then maybe lunch and washing the dishes. Then a nap, possibly. Then a shower, and party tonight.

I think the cleaning fairies have been skipping my apartment. Bastards.
