Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yep. NYC and then Denver.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

All the buffista babies are adorable.

I'm trying to decide whether to go on a JNF alternative spring break trip, to help rebuild the cities in northern Israel that were damaged during the war this summer. Pretty much, there are two things holding me back: first, they want two references, and suggest a rabbi or Hillel director. I go to synagogue semi-regularly, but the people there with official titles don't really know me. Second is that they want each person to raise $800 by asking friends and family and other people to contribute, and I'm not totally comfortable with that.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

horray for you Katie B!

This evening we had dinner at our cafe, stopped by the local film museam and connected with people that we hadn't seen in awhile ( who were makeing shrines for the day of the dead) , swung by the corner store where we saw more people, and walked by a very shinny model T on the way home.

we live in a cool place. and we are on vactaion. 8 days ( or in the case of Matt 9 days ) off and hanging around home - has been really really goood.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Have odd insomnia. Wasn't when Nicole went to bed because I felt like I was all wound down already, but I knew that I wanted to pluck some stray eyebrows, then tint those that survived elimination. And that generally means a shower. Also wanted to try the new color glaze stuff for hair that I'd bought today. Also means a shower. So I, logically added 45 minutes to my bedtime routine.

So I, as primate, groomed. As groomings go, it was really quick and once there is a sun out, I can confirm or deny my increase of foamyness.

Then got to bed with an Ambien chaser and it is all going pear-shaped now. Not tired, then tired and went to sleep. Briefly.

The awake again blows ball sack.

I have mssr. iPod and mddm. laptop on the case. Technology is my master. To the point of maybe I am thinking of getting a new collar if the relationship is going to become this serious..

Oh, and that funky impulse to clean (Thx Ambien, traitorous bitch) is not only low, but Nicole is quite happily sleeping in the guest room. So there won't be any of the Getting Up And Martha-ing the Place. There shall be sleep, any mystery clean in the kitchen tomorrow was done by sprightly fairies.

What is even happening?

Hey sleepless one, what do you use to tint your eyebrows? Is there something you can buy? My mum wants her eyebrows done, but the facial place near her doesn't do it, and her hairdresser doesn't do it.

Do you think your sleep habits are messing with your sleep window? I know I used to stay up too too late, and then couldn't sleep. And when my kids were babies and toddlers, sometimes, when they were overtired, they had a harder time falling to sleep than on regular nights. I'm just wondering if you'd saved the brow and hair stuff until today, and gone to bed when you were wound down, if you would have had a better night.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hi insomniacs! It's creeping on two here, and I'm trying to decide if I want to punk out and watch BSG all afternoon or go out and try to attempt actual writing.
