1) Helping a woman in the parking lot of Starbucks who was trying to juggle a minivan door, a toddler, and a tray full of coffee.
Having been in her position, I can only bless you a million times, and hope that your migraine (and Betsy's migraine hangover) disappears immediately.
I had a migraine from one Thursday to the following Tuesday and now I have a migraine hangover and feel like a zweiback that has been eaten and vomited up again.
Also my son is flunking three courses and getting an A-minus in history and his P.E. teacher complains that he is pretending not to be there.
Please, can I have a do-over?
Oh, honey. You need a skip over. I'm so sorry. I'm sending powerful thoughts to your son, right now. If this afternoon, he complains that he feels like he received a size nine square to the seat of his pants, but can't remember anything happening, nod in sympathy on the outside, and smile on the inside.
Kinda jealous, Aimee.
Because I love Neil Simon and Molly.
Oh, Aimee! Fun!
Sara just held up her toy phone and informed me she had a text message.
::boggles::
Good gods, I am typo queen this afternoon.
Oooh! I've never seen a Neil Simon play!
I don't know the show, I don't know the music (but for "Big Spender"), all I know is that Shirley MacClaine won a Tony when she did it.
Shirley MacClaine did the 1969 movie version. Gwen Verdon was nominated for a Tony in 1966 and Christina Applegate was nominated last year. In the 80's, Bebe Neuwirth won a Tony for a supporting role and Debbie Allen was nominated. (I kinda dig Sweet Charity.)
We just impulse bought two gorgeous handmade carpets. Wool on wool, natural dyes. The cat is rolling around on them in ecstasy.
It feels good. I haven't haggled for carpets in EVER, and I haven't done a damn thing to make this place homey, so this feels really good.
Also, I've sold several things from my Zazzle store, so that feels good too. (If any of you are the buyers, thank you!)
Have fun at the play, Aimee.

Bwah!
I think you'll really like it, Aimee. Charity is really charming and I can totally see Molly Ringwald playing her. Another song you might recognize is "If My Friends Could See Me Now."
Oh! While thinking of musicals, I don't think I told y'all that I went to the premiere of The Pirate Queen last week. It stars Stephanie J. Block as Grace and she was good. It was good, but it still needs some cuts and tightening up before heading to B'way. I don't think it'll be a hit, but it should get nominated for lights and costumes. Hadley Frasier plays Tiernan and he was fantastic.
