And boys -- let's watch the swearing.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I hope the ID theft stuff isn't too much trouble for you, Trudy. What a pain.

Cashmere, have you booked your flight to NYC? Because I have a oucple of passes on Jetblue that I don't think I'm going to be able to use before they expire.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Trudy, you can get a free credit report every single year, by law. You just need to request it, FYI. This sucks ass with the identity theft.

-t-, I have not. I'm still waiting to hear back from my friend in NYC regarding dates. But I'm interested in the passes, if you're offering.

Raq, here's one at Children's Place.

Suzi is too cool for school.

Hey, Stephanie! Good to see you!

ION, is it too early for bed?

Herding cats for fun

I believe the credit bureau protocol with identity theft is that they have to cough up a report free - if there's a police report. Dunno if that applies to NY as well as CA.

So the second interview yesterday went pretty well, I reckon. Back pain quiescent, thank goodness. Executive Director is planning to have a meeting next week with the ED who let me go from that last job. I said politely, "I'm sure he remembers me." What was I supposed to say, "Tell him I said Hello" ?

Then I went for a nice walk up at Oakland's Mountain View Cemetery, a lovely scenic spot. I walked around taking pictures of stone angels with years of mossy green patina. I had a seat on the stone bench of the Crocker memorial and felt/heard my back click into place, right in the sore spot. Ahhh. That was so wonderful I didn't even worry about whether it was a good omen or no.

Paging Raq: interested in some caryatid photos? I got some goodies.

Yesterday I had a fight with my sister. For some reason I seem to become quite peeved when she cancels our plans (a-gain) because she's hung over. Go figure.

Today I found out my dear friend's dad died while I was at the interview. Now I am sad, because theirs is a loving family and I know they’ll miss him awfully.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Jilli, did you see this? [link]

I did. I ... I don't know how I feel about that. On the one hand, David Bowie! On the other ... Spongebob?

I am offering, Cashmere. Just let me know if you can use them (they expire Dec.13) and we'll get them transferred.

The Flaming Lips did a song for the Spongebob movie. And that exhausts my store of knowledge.
