Didn't mean to imply otherwise.
I didn't think you did at all. It's just with the headaches I have had in the past week? Medically induced comas sound like they might even be reasonable. *I* am just amazed at what sounds like it might be reasonable to me these days. LSD? Sure. Why not...
Yay for your trip, sj!
It just baffles me that so many people can have such debilitating pain for so long, and medical research can't find anything to help it, or what causes it. Dealing with chronic pain is a hot button of mine; I only have relatively minor back pain, but I spent years caring for someone with chronic severe pain, banging my head against the stone wall of physicians who wouldn't prescribe a decent painkiller... well, anyway. I just think medical researchers and doctors should be working harder and looking at more options to eliminate chronic pain, not just manage it.
edit to correct the spelling oops
sj, that's wonderful! When are you going?
End of October to the beginning of November, so that I can see the kids on Halloween and T for her birthday. I didn't realize how badly I needed to book this trip until I was on the phone with T and the elder nephew telling them I booked the trip and found myself fighting back tears. I think we already have every second of the trip planned. It should be so much fun.
Getting through it and feeling better ~ma to all the Bitches who are in pain this weekend.
Daniel and I just got back from a weekend at his Mom's, which involved not nearly enough sleep for the amount of driving we did. (Which was by no means the most driving we've done together, but there was very. Little. Sleep.) The motel we stayed at theoretically offered high speed internet access. In practice, it was neither high speed nor especially accessible.
We interrupt this posting silence for pictures.

There are a few that follow the first one.
Oh what a darling girl and gorgeous happy family pictures!
Lovely!
We were in Echo Park today. Feeding the ducks and playing on the playground with our friends Tye and Eric. It was much fun.
It shows. Those are wonderful! You are indeed a gorgeous Empress and family.
Here - a bit of "My Daughter, the Unintentional Comedienne". Em had a pretty rough morning right after waking up for whatever reason. Didn't want to use her potty, didn't want a diaper on, waffle took too long to cook. Crying, sobbing, tantrum. Finally, she got her waffles and was calmed down and Joe says, "Well. Good morning to you, too, Emeline."
Em pointed her waffle at him and yelled, "NO GOOD MORNING!"
