It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I don't want to "preside," but I'd love for there to be spontaneous discussions, even spirited, mostly good-natured arguments, a stream of folk, regulars and newbies, and groups that clump and reform as conversations ebb and flow. A coffee can for donations by the door. Does that sound entirely too pie-eyed for words?

This sounds absolutely wonderful.

Hey. New board.

The Velveteen Rabbit is one of my favoritest saddest books ever. I'm tearing up now, thinking about it.

I skimmed past most of the kerfuffle. I think that's probably good.

How did I not know that Amber Tamblyn (Joan from Joan of Arcadia) is playing Sarah Michelle Gellar's little sister (and therefore the main character) in The Grudge II? I might have to see that now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I thought she looked sorta familiar in the trailer!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

We shopped. It was good.

Then I went to a book store, which was also good.

Now I am home, and I have a headache, which is not good, but it will lead to a nap, which is good.

The Tigers just bombed the Yankees. I'm totally surprised. A's play the Tigers Tuesday. Wow.

Nap, Lee, nap.

I'm about to Suzi. Sorry I didn't answer you this morning, by the way-- I had already left.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

And the Cards-Padres series is going into Game 4.

Have to say that I'm glad to hear that the Yankees are out of contention for the Series this year.

Anne - I was cheering for the Cards today - yelling at my screen as they lost. They still have the advantage...

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Timelies, all. I just moved up from dial-up to wireless at home. At the moment it's a neighbor's wireless, but at least I can access that now (thanks to a whole lot of help from a friend of mine). It's lovely--I'm sitting here surfing, watching the tv, able to dash between b.org and my lj flist. Sweet.

Work's going well, so far, I think. I felt a bit like I wasn't doing enough last week. Today I remembered that my previous job was actually 2.5 people's jobs, all tossed on my plate, so I might need to recalibrate.
