Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Oh, me too. I can't imagine sitting still for that.

Yeah, I know. But yet, I still consider getting eyeliner tattooed on.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

For some reason I'm less phobic about "needles near the eyes" than I used to be....

Because books.

He must use, like, SPF gazillion to keep the colors so bright, too.

I love his smile!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Someone please tell me it's 6:30. Then I can think about going home.

And I wonder why I've got that fresh homicidal feeling....

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Having been recently inked myself, all I could think when I saw his picture was "Ow ow ow, oh holy god, OW."

JZ, it sounds like motherhood becomes you. Yay!!!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

For some reason I'm less phobic about "needles near the eyes" than I used to be....

I bet. Still squicks me out thinking about your injections.

Work Rantyness Ahead:

Dude, I told you we needed your money to get you the info. I told you last week, I told you Monday. I keep telling you. Money=information and not before. Now, because you are a poopiehead, I can't go to class tonight because I have to deal with your emergency. And, in order to deal with your emergency, I keep encountering Issues. I'm on deadline for another project, for people who have actually PAID and I'm having to waste time dealing with this crap. Pfft.

I would, but then I'd feel bad about your inevitable disappointment when you looked at the clock. Also, thank you for the good wishes for A and her new bambino. They're actually in your neck of the woods, and it's killing me that I can't go visit, like, now.

At least someone has taken pity on me today. The rest of the world can go frak itself.

You're quite welcome, and you should come visit, soonish. DCistas, now with added baby. Er, your friend's that is. The rest of us are full of fecundity, but no embryos yet. Male DCistas are only on the hook for the fecundity of imagination.

Librarian Warlord

I'm grumpy. Friends called us last night to ask if we wanted to go listen to music on Friday. "Great!" we thought, our first adult-outing with this couple in almost two years, since they had kids and they refuse to get a babysitter because it's too expensive. Clarification came today when she suggested we meet at noon. They expect us to take the afternoon off from work and take the kids with us. Don't get me wrong -- I like other people's children, and so does my DH -- I'm just not sure I'm willing to spend vacation time to run around after them, or that I want my DH to give up his hourly wage earning to do so.

In better news, Lee and I have a plan and it involves shopping.
