I don't give half a hump if you're innocent or not. So where does that put you?

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think I'm going to be a Stepford/50's housewife to scare the shit out of my husband.

Dear Powers That Be,

What Jilli said, also, if it would be too much trouble, can you make it an hour from now here at work, but still now outside of the building?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I suck. I overslept by a lot today, managed to accomplish nothing, and had barely gotten out of the shower when Teacup Guy got home from work. Baked ziti is now in the oven and I have to get some schoolwork done. Motivation~ma and energy~ma would be so appreciated.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Motivation~ma

How's this:

Young lady, if you don't do your homework right now, I'm'a come right up there and, umm, eat all your baked ziti and enjoy your lovely company!

(Not angling for yummy Italian food. No, really. Honest.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

You guys! I'm sitting in my first grad school class, waiting to start!!! So exciting!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I have no idea what I'm doing for Halloween. Probably nothing terribly interesting.

I've just been reading some reviews of the resort in the Catskills where my family used to go when I was little. Seems like it's really deteriorated since then, and I'm sure that when I saw it it was nothing like it was in it's prime. It's making me sad.

(I was just watching Dirty Dancing. It got me wondering.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've been told by my sister not to make plans for the 27th (my b-day is the 25th), and when I mentioned that to a friend, it looked like she started nodding before assuming a look of polite interest...so it's possible there are plans in the works. My costume, if such is needed, will take about 4 seconds to don, so I can go with the flow.
