Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Steph, it's Krys.
Oh, god DAMN. (I mean, I would feel the same way no matter who it was, but I feel like I know Krys, even though I never met him.) I'm glad it's something as easily treatable as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, but still -- that fucking sucks donkey cocks.
Health~ma for SA's friend, and lots of punctuation to SA.
Mental health~ma for Nora's friend along with plenty of punctuation to Nora. It may give your friend a useful reality check to say something along the lines of "I care so deeply about you that when I read x email, I was concerned you might be suicidal, and I would hate to see you give up on life when depression is so treatable. Yes, you are suffering from depression, and I hope you find a way to get the treatment you need. But when you say ____ and ____ to me, it's abusive, and I can't accept being treated that way. Your life is ultimately your responsibility, so you will get help when you are ready. If and when you are ready for my support, I'll be here." Not recommending cutting and running here, just taking a break so as not to reinforce her bad behavior, if that makes sense.
Yeah. It does. He's already battled a major heart condition, too, almost four years ago now. There was heart surgery then, and a year of recovery. To have to do another round of hospitals and treatment...it's just a kick in the balls from life. But if anyone can do it, he can.
Oh, SA, that's so tough. Much ~ma to your friend...and to you too.
SA, I am so sorry about your friend. I hope that it is easily treated, but I am so sorry that you're so far away from him right now.
Thanks for all the advice/thoughts/punctuation. I am alternating between really pissed off and really, really, horribly sad. One thing I know- there will be no response today, or until I'm ready to give one, and have thought things through.
{{{SA}}} and for Krys too. He's really getting shit for health luck.
So, it appears there's now Evil Dead: The Musical [link]
The potty and the "WANT BALLS!" stories have killed me DED. Em is good at that, the wee elven cutiepie.
may the pain in the butt (not ND) go away quickly, too.
Laughing now. A lot.
Mental health~ma to SA's friend and hugs for {{{{SA}}}}.
Ditto for Nora and her friend. That sucks, love. Try to take care of yourself too, ok?
KB, your care for Gracie is such a beautiful thing, and that image of her rubbing up against you this morning makes me tear up.
niecphews
I agree with Cass: love this word and will snuggle it.
Eeee Matilda pictures! Man, that kid is almost as adorable as Pete!
t runs away
*Such* a good word the neicphews are! And it eased up my little stress issue of what I would call the new ones. Neicelet and nephlet are individuals to me, not generic labels.
Treatment and dealing-ma to your friend, SA. I'm so sorry. Also, virtual hugs to you - being so far away when you want to be right there sucks.
Nora, dealing-ma to you, too. That's such a hard situation.
Cass - I don't think I've congratulated you on your additional, double auntie-hood. Welcome to the world, Paolo and Ava! Hope everyone's doing well.
