Welcome to the world, Paulo and Ava. Congrats, Cass. Did they have to take the babies early, or did they end up coming on their own? Is your sister doing all right?
'Underneath'
Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay for adorable kids together in pics!
Yay for new nephlet and niecelet in Cass's life: You may find that watching nephlet the first with his new sibs is even more precious than any one precious child.
Babies, babies, evverywhere! So sweet!!!!!
Flop
Home from the latest trip to Sacramento - mom is making s-l-o-w progress. I have to "recharge", get spiffed up, and then take the family to SF for dinner with my dad. Bouncing between the parents - fun.
Did I mention FLOP?
Welcome, new babies! Congratulations on new auntie-ness, Cass!
Emmett and Matilda are an extremely handsome pair of children, it's true.
We've been watching stuff and clearing off the dvr all day. I'm tahrd of teevee, but I'm too lazy to do anything else. Maybe...I'll read! Yeah, that's something different...sorta.
Did they have to take the babies early, or did they end up coming on their own? Is your sister doing all right?C-section and they were early but into the window the doctor wanted. Fingers are crossed they did the tubal ligation while they were in there.
I am assuming that they waited as long as they could but I don't have lots of information. She seems to be doing okay.
Nephlet called me but I heard my stepmom in the background feeding him information so I am assuming everyone is happy and healthy. I'll call in a bit for further spoilers.
Nephlet called me just after and hadn't even met them yet. The sweet big brother boo.
I was going to email you today!::obsessively clicks for new mail::
Well...I was going to. I never actually got around to the doing part.
Doing? Were we supposed to be "doing" things today? Because yeah, not so much.
Doing? Were we supposed to be "doing" things today? Because yeah, not so much.
This so very much.
Sail and I have been slounging all day. We finally ate some chili and she hit the road to head back home. So, some driving~ma for her for the next 3 hours-ish, please?
This has seriously been one of the best weekends I've had in a while. Friday night, Kathy A. came over and Sail got here. We ordered in Thai and watched Dr. Who.
Saturday was brunch with Sail, Kathy, brenda, tommyrot and, of course, our guest of honor, vw. Great way to start the day. brenda reported on our afternoon of Lush, chocolates, mani/pedi, and tea. Sail and I got cupcakes after brenda left for work.
Then we came back to my place to clean up and rest then headed out for tapas and an "improved drag rock show" with brenda and tommyrot. I got tipsy on sangria. Yum.
Today was slounging.
Fantastic weekend.
Heavens no! Doing things would take away from obsessively checking for new posts, watching youtube, and contemplating the possibility of maybe doing some research (not actually doing the research, mind you).
You may find that watching nephlet the first with his new sibs is even more precious than any one precious child.I think you are exactly right.
ThaiCrap. I think the leftovers from my dinner with P last night are in my car still. That can't be good.
Well...I was going to. I never actually got around to the doing part.S'okay, I never got around to the checking part either...
