Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You may find that watching nephlet the first with his new sibs is even more precious than any one precious child.
I think you are exactly right.

Thai
Crap. I think the leftovers from my dinner with P last night are in my car still. That can't be good.

Well...I was going to. I never actually got around to the doing part.
S'okay, I never got around to the checking part either...

Baby! Big brother! Cute!

Congratulations, Cass!!!!

Good day today. Saw my grandparents, cousin's family, and aunt and uncle. Spent much time chatting with my cousin, which was lovely. It's really been a fabulous weekend. Can't believe I have to go home tomorrow. Back to the real world...

Congratulations Cass! Welcome to the world Paolo and Ava!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I forgot that it was pink flamingo golf sunday. People around the neighborhood make up mini golf holes and people go play them. It is a fundraiser very silly - good place for people who can't golf. and then you hang out at the watering hole. very sunday. we did some work on the walls before going -

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Safely home from Chicago. The drive back was very interesting. Traffic was light, but I could see a massive storm front up by the Wisconsin/Illinois border as I was driving. Some miles out of Rockford I started seeing gigantic lightning strikes coming down from the clouds, the ones with multiple branches that look like electric trees growing upside down out of the clouds. I never heard any thunder, just saw the lightning. I was worried about a possible torrential downpour and/or getting struck by lightning, but it only spattered for a little and I drove out of it. Never left the lightning behind, though, but it did change from ground strike lightning to cloud-to-cloud lightning, which left the clouds glowing in the aftermath. Fun drive home, I felt like I had my own light show to guide me.

As for the weekend, well, as reported it was teh awesome. It was great getting to meet Kathy A, seeing Val again, shopping and schmoozing and slounging at will. ChiKat and I did the serious slounge today. Neither of us were out of jammies until nearly 5 o'clock and I admitted I did have to go home sometime. So, here I am, home, safe, bored.

Cass, healthy-baby~ma to your new neice and nephew.

Emmett and Matilda are absolutely adorable. Good genes there (take that as you will, Hec. Hee.)

Cash, getting your revenge on is the best medicine. And you don't even need a vengence demon to help.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.
