Okay, j, I'll go;
YAY!! I hope you have fun, and even if you don't, at least you made an effort. (Note: I wouldn't have told you to go if you said you were really tired, because I believe everyone needs down time.)
I think next time I visit the North Beach Spa I would like to go to a club.
Amante is as close as the North Beach Spa comes to having a club. We're more of a saloon-and-Italian-restaurant nabe. Well, there's Mojitos, with the rhumba and samba and glayvin, but they're erratic.
OTOH, we're not too far from SOMA, Union Square, and the Mission, so we can find something. I will not take you into the Marina, though. My love for you only extends so far.
Hee hee. A SOMA club would be fun.
I told my sister that she would fit right in in North Beach. We're very similar except she has better drinking abilities and is more outgoing.
nah, usually I just need someone to give me that little push past my general inclinations to sit down with a beer for the night instead of go out. so, thanks.

....
I may have met my match.
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!!!
(For those who were not there this past weekend, stories were being told about the hilarious and fun Friend Of Juliana's not 10 minutes after we went home, and Aimee is still being asked after. Therefore, her sister poses a distinct threat to me if she can drink and flirt better than Aimee.)
(Not really. But it's an amusing thought, at least.)
Looks like I'm heading back up to Sactamento for the weekend. Mom has had a couple of rough days and she finally admitted she misses having me there.
I have no idea how I'm going to get caught back up with my school work.
Mmm. Thanks for the push, juliana, I ended up dancing for three hours. Of course, my gayboy had a crisis, and there was way too much doing of coke for my tastes. But it was still fun.
I taught today with a fever, in a Dayquil haze. It sucked.
On the plus side, I have now watched 6 episodes of Joan of Arcadia season 1, which I
finally
got on DVD. I really love Amber Tamblyn, and so many parts of this show.
