Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Suzi, I'm crossing my fingers for that kidney to come your family's way.

Meara--yikes. Do you know what you're going to do? Maybe ask your dad what he thinks would be best.

Yeah, I dunno what I'm going to do--I think my mom was kinda in shock. But there isn't going to be a funeral, and mom said she was only going to take Monday off work, so...yeah. Don't know.

Grandma was 90, and not really with it the past few years, so in general, not a huge shocker. Just the whole "Oh, I didn't mention she was in the hospital the past week? By the way, she died..." was odd. :)

However, the good news is, the computer continues to limp along. Yay, comptuer.

Would it be evil if I took bereavement leave on Monday so that I could take the computer to the shop?
