Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Much nicer on you than Posh!

I think I'm going to experiment with alternative treatment, and see if a spa manicure right after work ($9 at the place across the street) makes me feel any better.

I found a pedicure helped.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

JZ reports the manicure helped. The manicurist gave her an extra-long you're-a-pregnant lady forearm massage.

I'm getting the pig!

Absolutely!

Woot! Today is a very good day. A very good day, indeed. And October was already shaping up to be an excellent month and now it is even more so.

I found a pedicure helped.

I bet that with a pedicure JZ would get an extra-long you're-a-pregnant lady calf massage.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Argh.

While I understand that High Holiday ticket sales help support congregations and pay for stuff like prayer books and cleaning and the cookies after services and all of that, I'm just getting really frustrated at having to pay $180 for it. (And yes, that's the discounted student price.) (And it's nothing compared to what some of the suburban synagogues that have more stuff charge.)

I know that if I ask my mother, she'll pay for it. And I know that I can manage the $180 -- it's not going to bankrupt me. It's just irritating to have to pay to pray.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hey, anyone have any insight into becoming an actuary? Advice, et cetera?

Nah. No actuaries around here.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad the manicure helped JZ.

Nicole, I just got it today, and I sent you a thankyou note this afternoon. THANK YOU!!!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's all Aimee's fault, as such things frequently are.

HEY
