[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

This is her junior year. She is 16. She also lucked out and has all her classes in the same building. Her freshman year had her running all over campus - so this is a HUGE treat.

OH, and she currently has 101.7% in her AP Physics class.

Again, HOW is she mine?

Damn, I wish I'd been wise enough to take physics in high school. Though algebra was my bete noir so I might not have been able to cope with precalc. I was much better at math like calculating angles and such, where I had something physical to attach the math to.

Wow. I'm not sure I could get through Physics for Dummies.

And, hello? Your kids are made of awesome *because* they're yours.

What is even happening?

Again, HOW is she mine?

Um...is the woman asking this question the same woman who is living with her mother who has a severe medical condition, a husband, and two teenagers; the woman who took in another family's troubled teen last year; the woman who works, goes to school, and is extremely active in her daughter's sports activities, while making time for friends; the woman who also has pursued her own interests, such as baseball? Because if it is, I think I've got an inkling about this SHOCKER.

IT WASN'T ME. Might of been, but for the lazy and the busy, but it wasn't.

Leezer? Dang, woman... you better hope that nickname isn't sticky.

Apparently, in the Land in Aimee's Head, it has been for years.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

OH, and she currently has 101.7% in her AP Physics class.

Very awesome! To be a total rock star, however, she should take AP Bio and AP Chem too. And take AP English twice. And...fun. Tell her to look into what colleges she's considering and what their stance on AP credit is. Depending on what she plans on majoring in, she can choose which tests to take. Sure, I got some sort of "Distinguished Achievement" honor, but in retrospect, some of the AP tests I took were a waste of time and money because they didn't really translate to any useful credit at Rice. The classes were worth it, of course, but not the $75 and stress of the tests (although, hey, you do get out of class).

WindSparrow, that's an amusing dream.

In other news, I have admitted defeat. Or, rather, I have had defeat admitted for me. I made my case to no avail. I'm writing a $1,300 check to buy everyone fucking diamond fucking jewelry in exchange for the years of not giving them anything for Raksha Bandhan. This is supposed to make me look good, so it better make me look REALLY FUCKING GOOD, like they should write books about how fucking generous I am. And when I told my mom I thought jewelry was stupid so if I was going to get her a gift, I'd rather support something other than stupid shiny rocks, she said what she really needed was to have her house renovated. I told her I couldn't pay for that, so she said she wanted some sort of furniture in her closet because there's no space to put stuff, and I wasn't sure how much a Gift to My Mother is supposed to cost, so I didn't quote her anything, but I hope she finds something for under $500 because there goes a month's salary. So I'm paying for my microwave and desk and computer and throwing in a few hundred dollars for extra goodies for the girls, and everyone is happy. But me. Which is as it should be.

Also, she's almost done with the VM S1 DVDs I bought her for Mother's Day. She thinks Duncan did it.

On the upside, I did lie and say I still don't eat meat on Thursdays, which I stopped doing, like, five years ago.

Polter - she took AP Chem last year.

Cindy - I. Well. ok. When you put it that way. Me, I think of my high school career which included zero AP classes, much cutting, and so-so grades.

2.5 hours and I'm running away from work.
