And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Do we have multiple Portlandistas now? Perhaps we could connect?
libkitty, I think I am the only active 'fista. And I haven't met any others even. But you must most definitely ping me.

How come you are visiting our fair city? (It might rain while you are here. A lot.)

But continuing ~ma anyway.
Much thanks indeed. I want them as healthy and baked as possible.

I sleeps now perhaps.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sleeps, sweetie, sleeps and sleeps and sleeps...

Sleeps is good.

Shrift is shrift. I know her birthname and, just, no. A world of.

She is SHRIFT.

I answer to Pleiades, Plei, PMM, PM, or Min, depending. And I think of myself, as I've mentioned somewhere, as Min a lot. More than I ever thought of myself as Penny (first name change attempt: age 4) or Leia (second name change attempt: age 14).

(During my Leia period--which, strike the P and the DES, and that's what's left--I rarely remembered to answer to the New Name. However, I was once asked by someone if I knew Pleiades, as they knew I was friends with Orion, and they'd heard of Pleiades and Orion from someone. When I stopped laughing, I explained that, yeah, kinda, seeing as Plei = me.)

What is even happening?

Jen, sorry. We were talking Xander in the Buffy thread, and my desire to quote the line overtook my desire to be correct (in other words, that's what the "sorta" was supposed to make allowances for). After an episiotomy or three, I feel safe in saying the vagina and rectum are likethis ||. Still, yes. Taken literally, I'm glad you had NONE of that.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Your LJ name always throws me, Anne, because there is another Buffista who uses the first name as her Buffista board name and her LJ name, although it's not her real life first name, either.

Heh, I was just going to say that.

Shrift is shrift. I know her birthname and, just, no. A world of.

And yet, she does not go by shrift in person. Madness!

The mind boggles.

Because really, the only name that suits her as well as shrift would be Jaye.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Because really, the only name that suits her as well as shrift would be Jaye.

True, that.

...I think of myself as Fay more than I think of myself by my birthname.

ion, I have discovered that the bloke who runs the Early Years dept downstairs (he teaches 4 year olds) is a total comic geek. And he has MASSES of comics that hs'e obtained on bittorrent, and is now my official comicpimp. He rocks! He's a DC boy. He's just presented me with The Incal, Books of Doom, Frank and Y - The Last Man burned onto a disk. Yay!

(ioon, Still Not Dead. But y'all knew that.)

I have a children's book written by someone with your birthname, Fay.

I think of you every time I read it to Squeak, which is often, as the blasted thing is about Teddy Bears, and she just can't get enough of the beasts.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I know someone here that changed her first name completely. She hated it (and has issues with her mother, her childhood and her entire family). It was her way of liberating herself from her past. I can't even remember what her first name was, I've been calling her by new name ever since I've known her.

Her mother forgets and calls her by her old name--which she ignores.

Good, because I think that goes for most of us.

Mostly I think of Cash as Cash. Any of Plei's names work for me.
