Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I have a children's book written by someone with your birthname, Fay.

I think of you every time I read it to Squeak, which is often, as the blasted thing is about Teddy Bears, and she just can't get enough of the beasts.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I know someone here that changed her first name completely. She hated it (and has issues with her mother, her childhood and her entire family). It was her way of liberating herself from her past. I can't even remember what her first name was, I've been calling her by new name ever since I've known her.

Her mother forgets and calls her by her old name--which she ignores.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

...I think of myself as Fay more than I think of myself by my birthname.

Good, because I think that goes for most of us.

Mostly I think of Cash as Cash. Any of Plei's names work for me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I didn't know Fay wasn't your birthname!

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I think of Cash as Cash, Plei as Plei, Cass as Cass, meara as both meara and her real name, and think of Hec as both David and Hec, and tend to interchange them depending on what is transpiring in the conversation.

I never go by my board name in real life.

That must make things awkward.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I didn't know Fay wasn't your birthname!

It's my middle name. Or one of them - I have four names in total. So Fay is my name, but it's not the one I normally go by in everyday life. Um.

t sheepish

Yeah, in real life, he goes by The Eutectic, which is hard to say.

Oh, and Fay is most definitely and completely Fay.

That must make things awkward.

It's rare that I need to be that specific.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

Cindy, apparently they took out my on-the-uptake piece today, too. I totally didn't even recognize that Xander quote. I hang my head in shame!
