So you're saying the $32 is worth it just to buy the damn thing?
Look at it this way: it would probably be $10-15 for the materials, and then it would take (depending on how good you are at sewing) a minimum of 2 hours. 2 hours without interruptions.
Yes, the $32 is totally worth it.
Okey dokey. 'Sides, I'll be quilting for B most of the month anyway. And then there's school....yah. Buying the tutu.
Em will be a blue fairy for Halloween. I will make a quick adult tutu for me. I'll just buy a bunch of blue tule and glue it to a ribbon.

Before you do the glue-ing, make sure to gather the tulle to fit your waist. [link]
Hmmm. That's not bad. Is the 2 hours you estimated sewing by hand or by machine?

By hand. Machine would go much quicker. I just couldn't remember if you had a sewing machine.
Oh, Aimee! That is darling! Must buy it!
Cashmere, Owen continues to amaze me with his cuteness. "Buzz, are you ok?" is just priceless!
Alright. I'm convinced. I'm totally having a big Halloween party. So. Much. FUN! People will come, right?
I just couldn't remember if you had a sewing machine.
I do. I couldn't live without it. Want a long gothy net skirt while I'm at it??
Aimee, are you bringing your smiting stick with you this weekend?

If it's not too much trouble, I wouldn't mind one. Me no sew. Me make chokers, though!! (Pssst, Jilli, still need your measurements!)

I've been debating being a gothy fairy princess for Halloween, but I was lamenting my lack of a skirt. I could make that tulle skirt. I could *totally* make that skirt! (I'm amused that neither I nor anyone I know -- in meatspace -- have a sewing machine. And that includes every last female member of my family.)
