Aimee, are you bringing your smiting stick with you this weekend?
'Safe'
Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Want a long gothy net skirt while I'm at it??
raises hand
If it's not too much trouble, I wouldn't mind one. Me no sew. Me make chokers, though!! (Pssst, Jilli, still need your measurements!)
I'll just buy a bunch of blue tule and glue it to a ribbon.
Before you do the glue-ing, make sure to gather the tulle to fit your waist. [link]
I've been debating being a gothy fairy princess for Halloween, but I was lamenting my lack of a skirt. I could make that tulle skirt. I could *totally* make that skirt! (I'm amused that neither I nor anyone I know -- in meatspace -- have a sewing machine. And that includes every last female member of my family.)

Sure. Might not be for a while,, but I'll make ya one.
I can bring it. Who needs smiting, Lee?
Arranging travel has been, well, we won't go there. But it looks like I have definitely been approved to go to Internet Librarian in Monterey in late October (not quite Halloween, alas). More importantly, I actually have a place to stay for the whole trip. I'm a little nervous about the hotel, as I think anything that still has space in Monterey that weekend has got to have issues, but it looks nice.
Ya know how wonderful it is when you realize that your craving for mac&cheese can be met with your favorite form of it, within about 20 minutes? Is marvellous.
Stouffers. 6 minutes in the microwave. Just about my favoritest comfort food evah.
I put it in for aeensy bit longer so that it gets a crunchy around the edges.

JAckass down the hall, who thought it was funny to tell the new fall associate that he always had to check things the paralegal and I put together, since we always did them wrong, in front of the paralegal and me.

Well of course, doesn't everybody?
Well of course, doesn't everybody?
I think my microwave may be on the powerful side, so 6 minutes usually gives me the crunch without completely overflowing onto the microwave. But yeah, the crunch is the best part.
While we're talking about Halloween costumes, if you run across a Hello Kitty one in a 2T, please to let me know. Niece is going to be HK if we can track down a costume. The only one I've seen I didn't really like (it was a satiny pink dress over furry pants with a HK hat). I'm thinking an HK mask with a generic white kitty costume might be better...
