Many good thoughts for Matt.
Long day here. Got to school an hour later than I wanted to, because I made a serious wrong turn and ended up downtown in the middle of rush hour. By then, I REALLY needed some coffee, so I got some iced coffee at the little coffee shop. I had to go to the library and take out one of my textbooks on reserve to do my homework that was due today. Beverages are not allowed in the working areas of the library, so I thought I was all smart and stuck my iced coffee in my bag. Well, it spilled all over the bottom of the bag and on everything in it. YAY! By the time I finally got to my math homework I only had 45 minutes before my classes started...not nearly enough time to finish the 8 problems. I did my best, and got through four of the eight problems. As I closed the textbook and took one last look at the problems I'd done. Two of the completed problems used the number of days in a year as part of the equation. Apparently, in my brain, there are 356 days in a year. So, half of the problems I did I know I got wrong.
And that was all before 10am.
Is it bedtime?

There are 356 days in a year in my brain, too. Unless that was a typo for some other typo.
Harvey purrs to you, too.

What world do you live in? It's not even Wednesday yet!

Does Friday come sooner in the Imperial universe than it does for us mere mortals? I prefer
It's almost time for House! It's almost time for House!
Achievable goals.
I live in a world where it's almost Friday!!

And now I shall flounce home and start packing!
Whuh? I just got an email from the head of the department. (He's new this year. I haven't really met him yet, since I was out of town when they had all the welcoming parties.) He asked if I could stop by his office tomorrow, because he has a small problem and would like my help. He says not to worry, I'm not in trouble.
What on earth is this about? I'm not worried, just confused.
So a friend of mine in her first year of teaching is telling me about her SIX classes of freshmen. She's already not sure if she wants to stick with it. Was it in here that people were talking about the teacher support group? (I think it was on LJ?)
