Whuh? I just got an email from the head of the department. (He's new this year. I haven't really met him yet, since I was out of town when they had all the welcoming parties.) He asked if I could stop by his office tomorrow, because he has a small problem and would like my help. He says not to worry, I'm not in trouble.
What on earth is this about? I'm not worried, just confused.
So a friend of mine in her first year of teaching is telling me about her SIX classes of freshmen. She's already not sure if she wants to stick with it. Was it in here that people were talking about the teacher support group? (I think it was on LJ?)
Hil, I think the department head is making excuses to meet you and ingratiate himself to you.
Ailleann, I think you might be remembering Kristin's teacher_oasis on LJ.
Lee, step away from the pets.
You never let me have any fun.
You never let me have any fun.
I'm saving you from the wrath of the kitties with whom you already live.
YAY! I WIN!
There are 356 days in a year in my brain, too.
