You always think harder is better. Maybe next time I patrol, I should carry bricks and use a stake made out of butter.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am still doing my science homework. Hate.this.class.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm jealous.

I ditched my Amazon order for the slightly cheaper DeepDiscountDVD order and have NO IDEA when they're going to ship my dvds.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I was going to point out that it's almost talk like a pirate day! Instead I will settle for pointing out that the 22nd is Elephant Appreciation Day, also September is Chicken Appreciation Month.

I had a full weekend, why am I not more tired? Also, why did I schedule my well woman for 8:00 am Thursday morning when I'll have been out late from getting a haircut (I party with my stylist) and have to work late that day? I clearly hate me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Still vibing for Matt's work stuff. And when he's able, may he see all the painting Beth did and go, "wow!"

All the job vibes in the world to Brenda--sounds like you don't really need them, though, after knocking the socks off the interviewer.

Oh, poor Newton. I hope s/he gets and feels better quickly.

(((Cass)))

Hec, I always got sandbagged with those questions in the car. I'm trying to merge and you want to know what cunnilingus is? Couldn't this wait?

No, of course not. It's a combination of being captive, and not being able to look directly at them. All the big questions? In the car.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

My parents gave me Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (but were afraid to ask) when I was 9.

I got Almost Twelve when I was 11. In. My. Christmas. Stocking.

That's so much worse than underwear for Christmas, folks. Seriously. It should've been in my parents' Christmas stocking as it was their easy way out.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm trying to see the difference that would make the UK the place to go to if the U .S. goes further down hill.

Well, I was being somewhat glib, just to clarify tone. But, since you ask, I mentioned it because:

1) Tom's British
2) attitides toward politics- ppl seem more engaged (this may be because one of Tom's best friends runs the National LibDem campaign)
3) European sensibilities toward vacation and health care
4) BANK HOLIDAYS
5) They are not constantly trying to put religion in my state, like so much peanut butter in my chocolate.

Sure, nationalism and racisim still exist, but they exist everywhere, because people are people, and people are assholes.

I'm not looking for a paradise; but the direction this country's politics is moving in disturbs me, and if I had a good opportunity to get out and observe from a distance for a while, sure, I'd take it.
