Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Ah-ha, found it.
But go you, giving your key to the cute neightbor dude. Just be prepared for him to walk in on you nekkid now.
Just be prepared for him to walk in on you nekkid now.
Well, I think he's giving it back to me tonight. He just needs to get in to bring something through the window.
Still, vw, good excuse to have more contact with him. Dress pretty!
Sean, very glad to hear you and S. are getting more sleep. It's the stuff of good living.
A tree fell on my dad's garage yesterday. I didn't realize how big the durn thing was until I came out today and looked. Whoosh. Good thing it fell the direction it did.
Now, I've talked him into playing hooky and going to SoaP with me. Whee!
Sean, so glad you and S. slept some. Hope it's a trend that continues.
ION, I've inherited ND's cold. I am sick like a sick thing. Dammit. I can't afford to be sick this weekend! The house is a sty, and I have to plan my course for the year. t /whine
Shutting up now. Must find DayQuil and chicken soup.
the giant flea market madness has begone. Matt is helping P-C move today and then later this eve( after the worst of the traffic is gone ) Emily comes and gets her stuff. No one seems to respect my no driving durring flea market weekend rule.
glad you and S got soem sleep last night. sleep is a thing that I am often greatful for - one good night of sleep makes you feels stronger, gives perspective (anne, I'm talking to you) and changes my attitiude 100% . I think I'll be napping later....
Glad you and S got some sleep, Sean.
I've been to yoga, and now I really need to pick up the apartment before we head out to Fort Funston for a gathering of pilots.
I'd rather curl up on the couch with the book.
sj, if you think it would at all help, I'd be happy to try to talk to TG and explain to him that there are some times when trying to help, no matter how noble or helpful, actually can make things worse, and that those times he should just sit quietly, or go somewhere else, and just bask in the happiness of having such a wonderful woman in his life.
Thanks, Sean. That’s sweet but probably not necessary. I think it is something we just need to work out on our own. I know that he is really just concerned and wants to help and make things better; I should probably talk to him about it when I don’t feel like I am going to lose it any second. Today things are much better. We went out to Wickford Village and walked around with Mom and Stepdad. Now everyone is resting and/or reading. I think I’ll take a nap soon.
Also, S and I both got our first really good night's sleep last night, for the first time in weeks. S didn't quite sleep through the night, but she wasn't up for long, and when she did sleep, she slept long and well. This is very good.
Yay! Sleep is so important.
A little of that patented Buffista ~ma for Dan Murphy, one of the pilots that was shot at our local hang-gliding site, and others who will benefit from what a good human being he was. I'm going to quote one of his good friends here, since I am only ever exchanged a word or two with him on launch at Ft. Funston: "Dan will go into the O.R. around 1:00 PM this afternoon to donate his organs. His spirit was freed some time ago and now his physical remains will help others continue their quest for their own flight. Dan will live on in both body and spirit! Best wishes Dan, our hearts soar with you."
