Well, red's more in the brown family than the orange color of oranges, and the pie crust color is definitely in the brown family, so I think Ben would approve, even if he wouldn't want the cherry pie. No one in my house would want it, but me, but that doesn't stop me from making it, with latticework, and not the cheaty kind.
Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Nobody in your house would want cherry pie? (boggled) Why not? Cherry pie is my favorite pie.
I have a hooded sweatshirt addiction.
I bought another one yesterday. I think this is number 10. I bought this one actually a little big, because I can't zip any of the others. The only one that I could still zip, the zipper got caught on a bus seat, so I can't zip it anymore.
This one is cozy and wonderful and grey, so it goes with everything. I love it. And I felt the need to share.

Sounds lovely. I have one like that, and I'm really looking forward to the weather cooling off here so I can wear it.

Hoodies are the BEST!
Hoodies are the BEST!
I KNOW! I carry one in my bag at all times for those chilly times. They're fabulous.
Speaking of hoodies, Farscape fans may be interested in this one.
I'll have to tell Orange ORANGE sister that (she just got back from her honeymoon).
That's that sister? Now she'll be Orange Orange Blossom in my head.
My head is a scary place today, I think because it's so congested. I'm pretty sure my allergies are acting up, but they're acting up badly enough I feel sick.
I have good news, though. It's not big-deal good news, but it's a bit of bureaucracy-behaves sort of good news. A coupleafew weeks ago, I posted her bemoaning the fact that I didn't have the title to the car I bought in 1991, which we want to give away. When we went to registry to get it, the didn't have a release of lien on file. I'd taken out (and paid off) the loan with bank 1 which got bought out by bank 2, which got out by bank three, and actually at this point, it's bank 5 in a line of buy-outs that I was going to have to deal with.
UPDATE: We called bank 5 at the time. They said they'd get it. They called me the next week, because for some reason, they had my husband's social security number affiliated with the car as well as mine, but they had both ss#s affiliated with my maiden name (because I bought the car three years before we were married). I mean, they actually called, rather than just chucking my request in the she's-not-a-customer-and-I-can't-figure-out-her-shit pile. I gave the bank what they wanted to know, and they actually sent me a release of lien letter, today.
Now, I still have to go the to RMV and apply for the title, but still. Also? The Bank of America (bank 5) people I dealt with were polite and FRIENDLY as well as efficient.
Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas, any more.

Scott eats five things. Ben is close behind. Actually, Julia and Chris might try Cherry Pie these days. I don't know if any of them like apple pie, except for Chris. Julia likes blueberry. They did not get this from me. I'm all like, "It's pie. Unless it's shit pie, it's probably great."
Speaking of which, I had a blueberry scone for breakfast this morning, and they're more emotionally mature than you might think.
