Oh, Jen, that's great! I wish you a whole lot of nothing surveilled.

I'm totally crossposting from Natter this morning, but I really just want to share that today was my last day of chemo, which means my course of treatment is over. Surveillance phase starts next, and it is my fondest hope that they surveil exactly nothing out of the ordinary. My doctor had encouraging words today, so I'm pretty happy.

This is the sort of news I really can't read enough. I'm so glad for you, Jen. Again, may your surveillance phase bore everyone silly.

Oh, Daniel. You make me miss that show so much. I'm sure it's in rerun on some channel, but I miss new episodes. Dang it.

And SA, the Dart! Be sure and get it to Greystones, because the views once you're past Glenageary are fantabulous. Unless you don't like heights.

I love heights! I will definitely try to remember this; I think the DART is going to be my new best friend.

I like it quite a lot! I thought today, "Now, Dublin, here's a city I could settle into for awhile."

SA, sorry about the car troubles. I'm glad you weren't hurt. When was your stuff stolen? Yay, for being in Dublin! I hope you love it.

My stuff got stolen the second day I was in the city. I should have been more conscious of my bag, but the thief literally snatched it from against my feet, so. Thanks for the well wishes!

I drank way too much last night. And I think I left my phone charger at work, and thus it is dead dead dead. I wanted to go to the coast this morning, but I was on that knife edge of hungover where you're not hugging the toilet, but it really is a better idea to be prone on the bed than up shuffling around. Now, though, I've watched Project Runway and Heroes, and was able to get some eggs and toast with jam without problem, so I think I'm going to be okay. Probably go to the coast tomorrow, though; if I leave the house it will just be to get milk.

Are you there for school, SA? Or is this for some kind of "working abroad" program? I know you said you had a job, but I wasn't sure if that was just to help pay expenses for school.

It's a working holiday visa, which basically means I'm classified as a tourist who can work. I graduated college in May, so I'm no longer in school.

I thought you were done with school, but then thought maybe you were going back for more. Buffistas seem to be like Oliver Twist when it comes to education, "more, please." The "working tourist" idea sounds cool. How long do you get to stay with it?
