The girls made two rounds of the house. Once, some of them went onto the property. Then the driver of their car honked the horn to scare them (which probably scared the guy) and the girls took off and then made ANOTHER sweep around the property.
That's when the guy shot his gun out of his window.

Sean just arrived. He's working for me today. We're doing prep work for Halloween at Universal Studios. We are having breakfast before heading to the warehouse. I just ordered huevos rancheros again.

I was just wondering about Sparky's comments, and if I'd missed something specifically about these kids being repeat offenders.
You didn't miss anything, Cindy. Specifically, this might have been the first offense for these girls. I was speaking more generally in that, if parents/authority figures had stepped in from the beginning, to stop the taunting and make it clear that this wasn't acceptable way to act against this man/family, then the girls might never have gotten the idea this was a way to spend their evening.
I'd bet folding money that brenda's right about the parents tormenting the guy, back in their day. It's like Boo Radley, only with a bad ending.

I was sleeping. Aidan decided not to sleep until 5:30 this morning. Needless to say, he's missed his second day of school. Hopefully things will be better by Monday.

Again, generally speaking, I think it's not just the news coverage that favors good-looking cheerleader/football player types. Parents, teachers, cops, principals, etc., are all inclined to give 'em a pass on behavior they might not ignore in other, less Norman Rockwell kids.
