Oh, PLEASE let me. I'm begging you. I'll tape it for the board's enjoyment, even.
Oh please let this actually happen. I'm dying to hear to hear an asshat little bully dealing with the real world.
(all the nice things you guys posted about the kitty)
Aw, geez. Thanks!! You make me feel all special and stuff. I do enjoy my cat rescues. This is actually my second old-cat adoption. If Kitty works out one-quarter as well as my friend Floyd did, well, that would be super. She'll be a great cat.
Am happy to report that Kitty, after a long nap, has perked up quite a bit and had something to eat. She came and brushed by my foot for a minute and then went and had a little more chow. She's just a bonerack and a ratty hide at the moment, but we'll see what some brushing will do for her. Maybe another bath later, too. That will be fun.
Mishka investigated this morning and hissed into her face a few times but without any real volume or spitting. I think that was her orientation informing her that he's Bosscat. She sat there very calmly and didn't react to that, but she had enough energy to growl at curious little Sophie when she wouldn't stop trying to creep up on her.

Oh, he is listed as my PCP, but apparantly, he won't treat a UTI unless I'm pregnant or just happen to have one when I go in for my appointment.
Oh he is SO on the list -- that is such complete bullshit.
Ain't it though? Such a fucker.
It's not like a UTI is all that time consuming to diagnose. Pee in a cup. Check the culture. Hand over the meds. And 9/10s of that would be someone else's job. I'm sorry your OB/GYN's an asshat, Aimée.
Sounds like someone doesn't want to be a PCP. Prick.
I had a doctor once who kept telling me that there was some mistake, she wasn't really my doctor, but she's see me this one time. Even so, she SAW ME.
Slumbernut?
Yes!
Also? Aimee's ob/gyn is an asshat.
It's all about finding the right person, my OB is awesome, as a woman (rampant sexism), she understands that if one is just a little in tune with one's self, more likely than not, she knows what she needs. I call her up, say "I have a UTI" and she calls the pharmacy for me. Nice, eh?
Is anyone here good at cleaning up not so great photos? My sister snapped a picture of a moose when she was driving the other day, but she only had her cellphone with her, and not so great. It is really grainy and I'm not sure what to do with it. But moose! Take a look at what I have..

Yeah, my sister's drive to work is pretty.
Really, at a certain age a woman knows she has a UTI and should be able to get a script without even having to see her doctor. Grrrrr
That's visibly a moose. Cool.
