Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Ugh. May actually have to talk to old landlord today. Grrrr...

Why can't she just pick up her freaking registered mail from the post office?

Maybe make yourself a script first, and stick to script, even if you have to do the old, "Another call's coming in and I'm really busy at school. The letter will explain it all. Bye-bye" and then hang up.

Do you have an answering machine so you can screen your calls?

Do you have an answering machine so you can screen your calls?

Yeah. Well, I have voice mail. I also have caller ID, so I'm not answering any number I don't recognize as friends or family. Actually, I've gotten two calls this morning that I didn't recognize, and they didn't leave messages. So, of course, I'm paranoid. The first one, I looked up the person...it was a dentist, so I think it was just a wrong number. The other one was an Unknown Caller. Neither left messages, so I guess it can't be that important.

The script is a good idea, though. Gonna write that right now.

Librarian Warlord

Excellent, vw! Although I would have loved to hear Vortex's call to the landlady.

The boss just shoved another project my way. A project I proposed last year and was completely shot down. It has now been ressurected as her idea.

I feel like pointing out to her that she should give it to the librarian here who hasn't been able to get a merit-based salary increase because she doesn't do squat, but that would be breaking the invisible wall that exists between my real job here and my peer review duties.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I *HATE* my new OB/GYN.

He won't see me for my UTI. "Go to your PCP."

I DON'T HAVE A FREAKING PCP.

Our wings are not tired.

With most insurance I thought women could list their ob/gyn as their pcp. Call the insurance number.

edit because gym is not gyn

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Oh, he is listed as my PCP, but apparantly, he won't treat a UTI unless I'm pregnant or just happen to have one when I go in for my appointment.

I don't get it. It's my hoohah. He's a doctor of hoohahs. Why won't he fix it?? Four Levaquin. That's all I need.

Ooooh! Accidental grad year numberslut!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That's a fucked up doctor. My OB(not that it's needed)/Gyn is my PCP, too and she's got no problem with seeing me for any damn thing I want. I think it's solely because of her sex. Men, IME, think they are too damn important to see anything outside of their "specialty."

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Aimee's doctor? ON THE LIST.
