'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

I'm never sure what to do at times, well, not exactly like that, but when I've got a funk. Cheerful Distraction or Going with It. Will file the suggestion, Hecubus. Minus tequila, cause that's just cruel. Guess who's going away at Christmas and not facing the Family Drama! Hint: she's an underappeciated artist with a mobility problem. ETA: Tag looks so appropriate right now.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It's just ass. She's also the one the other day who I was needing to back off my life a bit. I have a friend on the way down, we'll go up to the bar and I think I'm going to color my hair.

Thanks for the music. Listening to it now.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hair coloring is good. Go for a vengeful red.

Where are you going for xmas, erika?

Sorry about that, Heather. (the bummer, not that your friend was coming.) Probably Las Vegas, Hec. Maybe Paulie Walnuts needs a new goomare. You never know. My brother is gonna trip out...he's always been the traditionalist. Genetics are strange...

I'm just angry and confused. Can some people just be off limits? That may be unreasonable, and before yesterday I'd have said I want them both to be happy, it would just be nifty if that didn't involve me getting stomped all over.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Well, bed had been gotten - it is in BEAUTIFUL shape. His old bunk bed has been dismantled and the new bed is now set-up. His room is a PIT and I refuse to clean it for him. I just moved piles around as needed to get stuff done.

CJ is due home in a couple of hours. I'm looking forward to his reaction as he has NO CLUE.

Daisy Jane. I've always had a rule that if a friend breaks up with someone, the ex-lover is off-limits for a time. How long depends on how serious the involvement was.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Fortunately, I met Nora and Tom for many many beers and yummy food this afternoon, and that was an utter joy. It was fantastic.

I am always here to help, especially when beer is involved. OK, even when beer is not involved. Man, I was SO happy yesterday with the Teppy and the Vermont and the Tom-relaxation, and the beer. I was... I drank a lot of beer, but I wasn't drunk, I was, like *high* off how good it ALL was. (I was also drunk) (But no hangover yay! Thank you giant meal and drinking lots of water before falling asleep!)

We got back to the inn in one piece (because Tom is a very responsible designated driver), had a beer nightcap at the onsite inn pub/brewery, and snuggled down in one of the twin beds in our room and watched "Law and Order: Criminal Intent." Today, we acquired beer (at Long Trail), cheese, and maple syrup (at Sugarbush Farms). Also had a lovely lunch at Simon Pearce in Quechee.

{{Sean and S}}. I will keep hoping that there is an end in sight for you guys with all this health stuff. Hang in there.

ita, I am thinking of you as you are processing all this. I'm sorry.

Daisy, I'm sorry that you are having to deal with the gut-punch.

I had a nap when we got home and I'm still feeling sluggish and irritable. But must go downstairs and get dinner stuff together.

Also, La Tep is SO MUCH FUN AND SO AWESOME like whoa. (starts plotting methods to get her to New England every year).

Sweet! Go to Commander's Palace for brunch. (Make a reservation though, unless you have a movie star in your party.) Best. Breakfast. Ever.

Well, you always were very close with your exes, Daisy. Maybe there are lines of affinity there that you depended on being open even though they were exes. Clearly on some level you still feel proprietary over your ex.

I've seen Nora in this state. It's fun.

Also, La Tep is SO MUCH FUN AND SO AWESOME like whoa.

It's true.
