Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Fay, you're already in danger of starring in some imaginary Anna Leon Owensesque rpf in my head, simply by virtue of being in Thailand. Please. The king stuff is pushing me over the edge.

Will it exascerbate matters terribly if I admit to wearing great big long full skirts and broad-brimmed straw hats and singing or humming as a matter of course?

Bangkok sounds like it's treating you very well so far, Fay! And yay for the Good Behavior Bear! Great idea.

Because books.

It's gray and almost chilly here this morning, and now I want to watch The King and I and curl up on the couch.

There are so many reasons (one of them not quite three feet tall yet) that this is not going to happen.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The gronk is so very strong this morning. Teacup Guy and I are going to check out the town where his new job is located today and then we are heading down to Mom's beach house for a couple of days before she closes it up for the winter.

I feel absolutely awful today. Girly tmi: I think my new birth control pill is aggravating my depression. I am an awful, weepy mess with no energy. Hopefully a couple days at the beach with help. I'm not sure what kind of computer access I will have, but I'll check in if/when I can.

But you have pretty new hair!

Seriously, a new prescription can do that. Take it easy and enjoy the beach house.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I'm up way too early, and quite nervous and tense. Nothing specific, but I worry about S a lot these days. It makes it difficult to sleep.

Also, I'm worried about leaving her alone today to work for a few hours. Everything should be fine, but I'm still worried.

{{{Sean}}} Is there a neighbor or someone who could look in while you're gone?

Don't know. I've been wracking my brain to think of someone, but I'm coming up short right now.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Killing time 'till my wife finishes her video game so we can go drink wine and watch The Avengers. (Original, not the awful movie.)

Oooh! Cathy, Emma, Tara or Patsy Purdy?
