Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

It's gray and almost chilly here this morning, and now I want to watch The King and I and curl up on the couch.

There are so many reasons (one of them not quite three feet tall yet) that this is not going to happen.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The gronk is so very strong this morning. Teacup Guy and I are going to check out the town where his new job is located today and then we are heading down to Mom's beach house for a couple of days before she closes it up for the winter.

I feel absolutely awful today. Girly tmi: I think my new birth control pill is aggravating my depression. I am an awful, weepy mess with no energy. Hopefully a couple days at the beach with help. I'm not sure what kind of computer access I will have, but I'll check in if/when I can.

But you have pretty new hair!

Seriously, a new prescription can do that. Take it easy and enjoy the beach house.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I'm up way too early, and quite nervous and tense. Nothing specific, but I worry about S a lot these days. It makes it difficult to sleep.

Also, I'm worried about leaving her alone today to work for a few hours. Everything should be fine, but I'm still worried.

{{{Sean}}} Is there a neighbor or someone who could look in while you're gone?

Don't know. I've been wracking my brain to think of someone, but I'm coming up short right now.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Killing time 'till my wife finishes her video game so we can go drink wine and watch The Avengers. (Original, not the awful movie.)

Oooh! Cathy, Emma, Tara or Patsy Purdy?

Our wings are not tired.

She has 4 grandsons, and I think she's getting bored with boys.

This is DH's mom too. She has boxes of girly stuff for the granddaughter she has decided my SIL must have. Pressure much. SIL just rolls her eyes. She is not in any hurry to produce any grandchild.

{{Seany}} Yay for cell phones.

Scary storm stuff Andi. Yikes. Looks like a hurricane is happening next week. At my sibling's side of the state anyway. We'll see. No basements anywhere around here though. I think if I dig 10" in my yard I'd hit water.

sj - have a relaxing weekend. I was never able to take BCPs. They made me very depressed. This was decades ago though and I know they have a number of options now.

I was fine with ortho-lo, but they put me on Seasonale because my iron has been so low and with Seasonale you only get 4 periods a year. I expressed concern because when I was on regular ortho tricyclen, I was bug fuck insane, but he seemed unconcerned. Looks like once again I know my body better than the doctors.
