I do wish this season had more episodes. And that more than one more season was confirmed. I like the idea of the long Shane/Ilya story with everyone else's folded in chronologically but I think it would be easier to pull off with more overall time to tell it

I didn't hate how The Long Game ended but I have some reservations. Which would make it really interesting to have the show go on past the books (potentially the opposite of Game of Thrones)

Jacob Tierney optioned 7 books, including one as yet unwritten. My guess is it's going to be a sequel to The Long Game with a plentiful sprinkling of Scott & Kip if they want to make a third season from it.

That's my feeling, too. His works as a lead-in to both Troy/Harris and The Long Game.

I just listened to three straight guys wit a hockey podcast (“Empty Netters”) break down episode 5 and it was amazing listening to them be so into it and take it seriously!! (I’d seen snippets of them talking about other episodes on TikTok so decided to listen to the whole thing for this episode)

There are at least two hockey guy podcasts doing that -- the other is What Chaos or something like that -- and they both seem really cool.

I just reread all the books and man, I think they will have a hard time casting Ryan Price? Like, he’s described as a 6’7 mountain of a redhead! I am guessing they could just leave the redhead part out. But…I do wonder if people would (will?) be as into a story with a fey musician hero as opposed to two conventionally attractive dudes?
